Charity and not for profit organisations.
As with most countries, the law for establishing a charity or not for profit organisation is stringent in Italy. In accordance with the Civil Code of Law, a Will or notarised deed must be prepared giving details of purposes, assets and administration, along with a declaration of intention, all of which must be registered with the Italian local authority.
