OUR WORK IN THE COMMUNITY

Giambrone Law is not just an Italian law firm made up of Italian lawyers. As a firm we encourage all of our colleagues to undertake work in the community. This involvement ranges from schemes such as the provision of reading, numeracy and IT skills in local schools in Italy to various fund-raising activities for our supported charities.

All of our lawyers are encouraged to participate in pro-bono and community work which forms an important part of their yearly appraisal process.

Brendan Dine, Giambrone Law's Practice Director, recently commented:
"Corporate and Social Responsibility is a key aspect of our firm. We have a number of initiatives to promote CSR internally and externally and where possible we use our particular expertise to contribute to communities both locally and internationally. For example, in 2009 85% of our fee earners were involved in a pro bono matter."
