Legal Opinions - Giambrone's Competence and Capacity Recognised

The distressing events which played out on the beach in Sousse, Tunisia in 2015 were brought back into sharp focus in the UK with the conclusion of the seven week inquest into the British deaths and coroner Judge Nicholas Loraine-Smith’s decision in the Royal Courts of Justice on Wednesday.  The Judge ruled that the hotel, in which the majority of victims were staying, could not be held culpable by the victims for failing to protect them.

Giambrone’s expert lawyers were involved in this case and provided a multi-faceted legal opinion advising the coroner and the court on a raft of legal issues relating to Tunisian law such as whether any liability vested with the travel company and hotel, the key question of the duty of care owed by hotels in Tunisia to ensure all common areas are attended by guards together with information regarding gun law in Tunisia.

Giambrone’s lawyers regularly provide legal opinions to assist in legal matters relating to Italy, Spain, Germany, Tunisia and the UK.  The firm’s reach across Europe makes Giambrone one of the leading law firms capable of assisting and advising courts, municipal bodies and commercial organisations with legal opinions related to European jurisdictions.
