Italian speaking Solicitor

We are looking for an Italian Avvocato / Registered European Lawyer to join the highly regarded Dispute Resolution Team at Giambrone and assist with international litigation cases on a 12-month contract. There is the opportunity that this role may be made permanent

Our Dispute Resolution Team works with our clients on the full range of domestic and international contentious issues.

The successful applicant will be supporting the Partner in the  Dispute Resolution Team in London and must possess a strong client service focus enabling you to interact well with both external and internal clients at all levels. You must be fluent in written and spoken Italian and have an excellent command of the English language.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding and leading London team working on high quality, varied and interesting work.  This will include global projects and transactions, high profile domestic instructions, complex litigation, and strategic international advisory work.

You will be expected to manage a busy workload, often running several tasks at the same time and ensuring effective communication between you and the lead Partner. 

You will be working on a range of tasks from translating, drafting legal documenting, advising on Italian law and assisting with all cases taken on by the Lead Partner.

Key Skills and Experience Required

We look for excellent academics coupled with evidence of good quality training and strong experience gained from a leading Italian practice.

Experience working as an Associate or experience operating at an Associate level is essential. We are seeking candidates with business level English and ideally some previous experience in a similar role in international law firms. Preferably you will be a qualified Italian Avvocato, with experience of working with the UK based Italian legal system. 

The successful applicant will need a good commercial mind-set, be a strong team player and have the ability to build excellent relationships with clients.
