Adriana Grandolfo

Adriana graduated in Law from the University of Sassari in 2000 and, in 2003, was admitted to the Bar of Sassari.

At the beginning of her career, she divided her time between legal practice and academia. In the same year, she won both the bar exam and a place at the doctoral school of the University of Sassari, where she proposed research in the field of legal protection of biotechnological inventions.

She was awarded her PhD in 2006. During those years, she assisted first the chair of Private Law and then that of International Law at the University of Sassari. In 2012, she was appointed Honorary Judge by the Ministry of Justice and has held this position ever since, alongside her work as a lawyer, primarily in the criminal law sector.

After a long break from university, she resumed her academic collaboration in 2022, having won a research fellowship at the Faculty of Law in Sassari. Throughout her career, she has explored and deepened her expertise in various areas of law; she has completed an advanced course in civil, criminal, and administrative law, as well as a short master’s programme on international contract law. She currently focuses mainly on family and inheritance law.

Adriana is a native Italian speaker and speaks both English and French.
