Adnan Mahmood Khan is a lawyer with over 20 years of international experience, having assisted and advised leading blue-chip companies on a wide range of commercial matters, including international corporate governance, M&A transactions, compliance, and contractual matters such as share purchase and shareholders’ agreements. Adnan has overseen complex mergers, providing cross-border legal and regulatory advice on a variety of commercial and corporate compliance issues.
He has worked with leading international law firms in South Asia, the UK and the Far East, and has also headed in-house legal departments for technology companies based in Pakistan, Georgia and the UAE. In addition, he has served on the boards of industry-leading companies worldwide. His areas of expertise include corporate and commercial law, contractual and contentious matters, intellectual property, business immigration and joint ventures, with a particular focus on telecommunications, media and technology (TMT), energy, and oil and gas.
Adnan has contributed to the development of telecommunications regulatory frameworks in Pakistan and Cambodia, working closely with the relevant regulators. He has also been involved in major telecom-related transactions across multiple jurisdictions, including Pakistan, Bangladesh, Georgia, and regions of the Middle East, Africa and the Far East.
In addition, Adnan specialises in UK individual and business immigration, assisting companies with workforce sponsorship. He also advises high-net-worth individuals and skilled professionals seeking to relocate to the UK for work or investment purposes. Adnan is deeply committed to human rights matters and provides legal support to vulnerable individuals coming to the UK in need of protection.
Prior to his legal career, Adnan worked in the media sector for over a decade, collaborating with some of Pakistan’s leading media organisations. He continues to write for various publications on legal, social and political issues.
