Ciro Galiano

Ciro Galiano is a consultant in the field of labour law and industrial relations, privacy, and commercial law in the offices of our firm in Rome. He is distinguished by his proven expertise in assisting, both in and out of court, major national companies, holding companies, and multinationals in all areas of labour law, industrial relations, social security, privacy, and commercial law.

Over the years, he has developed excellent skills in commercial and labour contracts. He and his team support companies in their adaptation to the GDPR, staff training, and assists companies in their dialogue with the Italian Data Protection Authority, as well as providing support to in-house DPOs. In addition, Galiano has been involved in due diligence transactions involving restructuring, transfers, and leasing of business units, outsourcing of services through labour intensive private contracts, drafting contracts, and assisting the clients in the certification process.

Graduated from the Faculty of Law of the University of Palermo in 2003, he enrolled in the Register of Lawyers in 2006. He then specialised in labour and commercial law, combining daily practice with careful training through the attendance with profit of mater including the " Master of Business and Environmental Law", "Executive Master for Data Protection Officer" in 2018 and, most recently, the Master II at the University la Sapienza of Rome in "Information Technology Law, Legal Informatics and New Technologies" achieved with 110 cum laude. Since 2017 he has been a member of the Association of Italian Employment Lawyers (AGI),

Member of Assoreti PMI (association for business networks) and lecturer in masters and training courses for companies on labour law and privacy. He is the author of several publications, most recently "La Telemedicina", on privacy and new technologies in healthcare, published in July 2021 by Paesi Edizioni with Prof. Gabbrielli, Director of the National Centre for Telemedicine at the Istituto Superiore della Sanità. In addition to being a native Italian speaker, he has an excellent knowledge of English.
