Jose Miguel Hernandez-Rico Bartolome

José Miguel Hernández-Rico Bartolomé is a lawyer specialising in civil and commercial litigation as well as corporate and business law, with extensive experience representing companies and individuals in Spain before courts and arbitration tribunals. He currently works as a Senior Associate at the Madrid office of Giambrone & Partners, where he also leads the Business Development strategy for northern Spain.

 

He is a PhD candidate in Law at the University of Valladolid, holds a Master’s in Legal Practice and the Practice of Law (Top 5) from IE Law School, and a Law degree from the University of Valladolid. He is a member of both the Madrid Bar Association (ICAM) and the Valladolid Bar Association (ICAVA).

 

Throughout his career, he has worked in prestigious law firms and professional services firms, advising on corporate and commercial law, competition and advertising law, intellectual property, commercial contracts, and dispute resolution. His background combines corporate legal advisory work with litigation, allowing him to offer clients a comprehensive and multidisciplinary approach to safeguarding their interests.

 

Alongside his professional practice, José Miguel also teaches at university level, serving as Lecturer in Commercial Law at the University of Valladolid, where he delivers courses on company law, commercial contracts, competition, advertising, and intellectual property.
