Samantha is a barrister with extensive expertise in international property, real estate matters and construction disputes. As well as capability in international sports contracts, she was one of the first in the UK to negotiate a foreign takeover in the history of English football clubs.
She has many years experience as a commercial arbitrator and mediator and part 2 registered with the Dubai International Financial Centre(DIfC), and is a member of the London Court for International Arbitration.
Samantha deals with all matters relating to professional negligence including professional service providers, medical, medical devices and product liability cases. She has also been involved in claims for reputation management (defamation and libel). Samantha’s expertise also extends to family law, she is adept at handling high-value financial settlements, hidden assets, complex financial investigations and a range of children issues. She has a particular interest in same-sex couples and cohabiting couples and has achieved a high level of success for her clients.
Samantha is licensed to practice before the Dubai International Finance Centre (DIFC) courts and has a good knowledge of United Arab Emirates (UAE) law. She is also fluent in written and spoken Arabic. Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) is one of her core skills, which can be used to limit the legal costs of the clients. However, if all efforts in ADR, mediation or conciliation fail, then issuing or defending a claim in the courts will be undertaken. She is direct access accredited, with extended litigation rights before all courts.
