Coral Novalvos Delgado

Senior Associate

Coral Novalvos Delgado is a Senior Associate in the Málaga office, which she also heads. She is additionally Head of the Gay Lawyers Department in Spain as well as the Animal Law Department.

Coral graduated in Law from the University of Seville in 2018. She completed an internship at the International Observatory of Human Rights, which led to her being offered a position as a paralegal at a renowned law firm.

During this time, she worked in immigration law while completing the Master’s Degree for Admission to the Legal Profession and studying Korean and Japanese at the Centre for East Asian Studies, where she acquired basic language skills.

Coral specialises in three main areas of law: International Law (public and private), Immigration Law, and Criminal Law. After qualifying as a lawyer, she founded her own law firm in Seville, where she practised as a generalist solicitor until relocating to Barcelona. There, she initially joined an immigration law firm before joining Giambrone in 2022.

Since joining the firm, Coral has handled a wide range of complex matters, dedicating herself fully to the Global Mobility Department and leading the Gay Lawyers Department, which now includes several team members and manages complex cross-border cases.

Prior to the opening of the Málaga office, Coral worked in Barcelona exclusively on Global Mobility and Gay Lawyers matters. She now continues to focus on these areas in Málaga, while also handling civil and criminal litigation and developing the new Animal Law Department.

In 2024, she was recognised as Immigration Law Expert of the Year 2024 in Spain by Global Law Experts. She regularly participates in national and international events and is a contributing author to several articles published on the Giambrone website.

In addition, through her work within the Gay Lawyers Department, Coral is a member of the Core SMEs group of REDI, the Spanish Business Network for Diversity and Inclusion of LGBTI people.
