During her studies at the Faculty of Law of the University of Palermo, Federica Favata leaned towards criminal law and international criminal law.
In addition, she carried out a six-month curricular internship at the Palermo Surveillance Court, thus acquiring knowledge in terms of the execution of sentences and alternative measures to detention. Federica graduated in 2015, with a thesis in criminal law on home self-defense compared to common law systems. During her legal practice, where she deepened her knowledge of Italian and international criminal law, Federica also attended an advanced training course in International Criminal Law. Federica was admitted to practice law in 2017. During these years, she specialized in criminal law and in human rights.
Federica joined Giambrone & Partners in 2019 and works in the criminal law department. Federica is a native Italian speaker and speaks fluently Spanish and English.
