Giovanni Patti is the Resident Partner of Giambrone & Partner’s Catania office.
Giovanni is the head of the Internationalisation Department of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and Start-ups department. He manages the Catania office, coordinating and managing the range of activities undertaken by the firm, establishing the objectives and linking the strategies to achieve them.
Giovanni graduated in Law at the University of Catania in 2003 and also obtained the Master in international business at S.I.O.I. (Società Italiana per l’Organizzazione Internazionale). He has also been a member of the Catania Bar Association since 2006. Later, he successfully completed the Master of Laws (LL.M.) in American Law and International Legal Practice at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles in 2010.
He joined Giambrone & Partners in 2021 as a partner, bringing his considerable professional experience. He is a member of the board of presidents of the Associazione Nazionale Giovani Innovatori (ANGI), was also appointed by Compagnia delle Opere Sicilia: regional coordinator for internationalisation, and has been the president of Confassociazioni Australia since November 2023.
Giovanni’s main areas of expertise are non-contentious company and commercial law, specialising in contract law, he also has extensive experience in Intellectual Property Rights (IPR). His clients value his impressive track record in handling and protecting the intellectual property of their businesses and ensuring that there can be no attempts to exploit their unique ideas.
