Giovanni Patti is the head of the Internationalisation department for small and medium-sized enterprises and startups. He leads the Catania office, overseeing the coordination of the firm’s activities and ensuring alignment between strategies and objectives. He is also a partner at the firm’s Shanghai office, where he coordinates the China Desk to assist clients with legal interests both in Europe and China.

Graduating in Law from the University of Catania in 2003, Giovanni immediately settled in Rome, where he obtained a Master’s degree in International Business Law from S.I.O.I. (Società Italiana per l'Organizzazione Internazionale). He was admitted to the Catania Bar in 2006 and completed a Master’s degree in American Law and International Legal Practice at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles in 2010. In 2024, he successfully completed an Advanced Training Course in Chinese Law at the University of Enna ‘Kore’.

Giovanni was appointed as a partner at Giambrone & Partners International Law Firm in 2021, having previously gained significant professional experience at other prestigious law firms.

In addition to his professional activities, Giovanni is a member of the board of presidents of the National Association of Young Innovators (ANGI) and has been appointed by Compagnia delle Opere Sicilia as regional coordinator for internationalisation. Since November 2023, he has served as president of Confassociazioni Australia.

His main areas of expertise include corporate law, contract law, and intellectual property protection. Through the China Desk, Giovanni provides specialised legal advice to businesses and private clients with interests in both Europe and China, offering ongoing and integrated support across both jurisdictions.
