Giambrone and Partners instructed in a Case of Simone Cina involving her Death in a Swimming Pool

Giambrone and Partners has been instructed to represent the family of Simona Cina who was found dead in a swimming pool following a graduation party in Palermo, Sicily.

Gabriele Giambrone commented “there are a number of inconsistences surrounding the incident which require explanation, for example, the pool was comparatively small and yet Ms. Cina was not noticed in the pool by any of the 80 guests in time to attempt rescue.  Also, despite the invitation mentioning the fact that alcohol would be available at the event, none was found in the aftermath of the event nor was there any evidence that there had been any alcohol present during the evening.  There is also a question mark over why that Ms. Cina only appears very briefly in two videos taken during the course of the evening.

Gabriele Giambrone stated that the Termini Imerese Public Prosecutor's Office has registered the case as manslaughter (omicidio colposo)  by persons unknown.  More clarity will be shed on the situation following the post mortem.

Ms. Cina was a strong accomplished swimmer, which further confuses the situation and her parents are determined to have answers as to how and why their daughter met her end.
