Giambrone & Partners warns of attempted fraud involving misuse of its corporate identity

Giambrone & Partners wishes to publicly inform that an attempted fraud (phishing) has been detected, in which third parties are sending fraudulent communications impersonating our firm and members of our team.

The messages identified use logos, the names of supposed lawyers or executives, language imitating legal procedures or requests for payment of professional services, and in addition, may include fraudulent documents or contracts. These communications have not been issued by our firm nor by any of its professionals.

We wish to alert clients and the general public that:

• All legitimate communications from our firm come exclusively from our official email domain “@giambronelaw.com” and our verified corporate channels. Any message sent from a different domain should be considered suspicious and must not be trusted.

• We will never request payments via instant messaging platforms; any payment request will always be sent through an official firm email.

• We don’t request payments or sensitive personal information via unverified links or instant messaging apps, and we never ask for any type of security code.

What to do if you have received a suspicious communication:

• Do not make any payments or share personal information.

• Do not open links or download attachments contained in such messages.

• Forward a copy of the suspicious message to: info@giambronelaw.com

• You may also report the incident to the cybercrime authorities in your country.
