Ottavia Pulizzi is a Senior Associate at the Palermo office. 

Ottavia Pulizzi currently works within the Insurance department and has expertise in advising clients who have suffered personal injuries. In particular, Ottavia advises on the procedures to obtain the compensation of damages in matters relating to road traffic accidents, professional negligence, holiday accidents, accidents at work, sports injury claims, medical malpractice, trips and slips claim, damages caused by animals and pets, boat and aviation accidents.  Ottavia coordinates negotiations between Giambrone, insurance companies and external representatives.

Recently, she has worked on the following cases:

  • Excellent Settlement for Italian Couple following a serious Car Accident in New York (USA);
  • Advice and assistance on rail and air accidents that happened recently in Italy;
  • Settlement Awarded for Ski Accident in Italy;
  • A Tunisian family received compensation of damages after the death of their relative as a result of a road accident in Italy;
  • Settlement for passengers involved in the Costa Concordia disaster happened on January 2013;
  • Holidaymaker Injured on Wet Floor at Hotel in Italy;

Ottavia graduated in law from the University of Palermo and was a visiting foreign student at the University of Madrid. She completed a stage with the United Nations in New York in 2010 where she participated in projects relating to International Law. She continued her studies in 2013 at the Business School “Sole 24 Ore” in Milan for a specialist masters in Tax litigation.

Outside of work, Ottavia is a keen sportswoman and plays running and swimming.
