Tania Pereira Teixeira

Tânia Pereira Teixeira, an associate based in the Porto office, graduated in Law from the University of Coimbra and has been qualified to practise within the Portuguese legal system since 2019.

Tânia has extensive experience in family law, advising clients on matters such as divorce, parental responsibility, legal separation, and the preparation and negotiation of prenuptial agreements. She supports clients through often sensitive and emotionally complex situations with clarity and discretion, ensuring their personal and financial interests are fully protected.

In addition, she is highly experienced in inheritance and succession law, including advising on estate planning, drafting wills, and assisting heirs with the inheritance process, habilitação de herdeiros, and the administration of estates in Portugal. Her work in this area includes resolving disputes between heirs, ensuring proper transfer of assets, and navigating cross-border succession issues.

Tânia aims to fully understand her clients’ objectives and the risks they may face in order to provide comprehensive advice and guidance across all aspects of their legal matters. She prioritises resolving contentious issues through alternative dispute resolution where possible; however, if litigation becomes necessary, she is a tenacious and robust advocate committed to achieving the best outcome for her clients.
