The firm has an ambitious expansion plan for the next five years. and we are seeking an exceptional individual to join the team who can contribute to the firm’s growth. We are currently recruiting for an experienced solicitor to join our London-based team, on a full-time and permanent basis. The role is office-based and the successful candidate would be expected to work from the office on a full-time basis The successful candidate will join a dynamic and exceptionally busy team that deals with international commercial and civil litigation, insolvency and property litigation predominantly. The successful candidate will work alongside one of the Partners based in the London office.

Role summary

Due to the development and expansion of the firm immigration department, we are now seeking to appoint an experienced immigration solicitor. The Immigration Solicitor will be a passionate and ambitious legal professional with at least 1-2 years PQE running a healthy caseload of Immigration matters for their clients.

Key responsibilities

• Handling privately funded immigration caseloads
• Manage and develop client relationships including the day-to-day communication with clients and contact with our clients
• Prepare a variety of personal immigration applications in addition to providing advice on complex UK immigration, appeals and litigation issues
• Strong delivery of work with a good ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Advising on all right-to-work matters, sponsor license applications and compliance issues

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will:

• This will be an interesting and diverse workload where the successful Solicitor will be self-driven with strong drafting skills to formulate representations
• The Solicitor will need to demonstrate extensive experience in providing advice, casework in immigration law
• Experience running own caseload of client immigration matters, including visas, work permits, asylum seekers, business immigration, and beyond
• Have excellent academic qualifications
• Have excellent commercial and technology awareness
• Display excellent writing and research skills
