It may be possible to accept instructions on a fixed-fee basis or under conditional fee or damages based agreements (no-win-no-fee) in certain circumstances. However, this would need to be assessed on a case-by-case basis after an initial review of the matter has been undertaken. We may also be able to arrange a no-obligation, no-charge call with for up to 30 minutes to work out what we can do to assist and how we would charge.

The current hourly rates are:

  • Partners - £450
  • Senior Associates - £350
  • Associates - £300

These indicative figures may vary in cases with particular complexities. A cost estimate based on each particular case which takes into account the actual features of the matter will always be provided. If any unexpected complications arise that have an impact on our fees, we would immediately inform you of this and would discuss with you the potential consequences before you incur any extra fees.

Our day to day office overheads (for example printing and copying) are included in our charges. Any expenses under £100 will be normally paid by us and then added to our invoices. For any expenses over £100, we will normally ask you to pay the expense directly. Whenever we use an external barrister, we may ask you to pay their fee into an escrow account before it is incurred.

If we are carrying out any non-fixed fee work for you, we will ask you to pay money on account of our fees and expenses into an escrow account (third party managed account) before we start any work. The escrow account is managed by Shieldpay which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (770210) as a Payment Services Firm.
