Requirements:

Procedure:
  • The employer submits the online authorisation request on behalf of the employee
Investor Visa
The Investor Visa may be obtained by:
  • Purchasing €2 million in Italian government bonds (minimum holding: two years); or
  • Investing €500,000 in an Italian company or €250,000 in an “innovative start-up”; or
  • Donating €1 million to a philanthropic project of public interest
Procedure:
  • The application is submitted online with supporting documentation.
  • The Committee reviews the application within 30 days and issues approval if successful.
     
Start-Up Visa
Requirements:
  • A minimum investment of €50,000
  • Establishment of an innovative start-up company in Italy
Procedure:
  • The applicant submits a detailed business plan, highlighting the technological innovation of the company, along with proof of investment, to the ISV Committee (Technical Committee on Visas for Italy).
  • A decision is issued within 30 days.
